Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nutritionist role based in Hyderabad. The Nutritionist will assess patients’ nutritional status, review medical histories, and collaborate with hepatologists and the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized nutrition plans for liver disease and liver transplant patients. Daily responsibilities include providing nutritional counseling, guiding patients and caregivers on dietary modifications, monitoring progress, and adjusting meal plans to support recovery, liver function, and weight management. The role also involves delivering nutrition education sessions, preparing educational materials, maintaining accurate records, and participating in case discussions to ensure integrated, evidence-based care.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Dietetics and clinical Nutrition, with the ability to design medically appropriate meal plans for liver-related conditions.
Proficiency in Nutritional Counseling, including patient assessment, goal setting, and ongoing support for behavior change.
Experience in Weight Management and lifestyle modification strategies tailored to complex medical cases.
Skills in Nutrition Education, including creating clear, culturally sensitive educational materials for patients and families.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably with gastroenterology or hepatology patients, is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
