We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and organized Software Engineer to support software development, application maintenance, testing, debugging, system improvements, and day-to-day engineering activities. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving technical problems, writing clean and reliable code, building software solutions, and supporting business needs in a fully remote environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day software development and engineering activities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Assist with developing new features, applications, and software solutions
Debug and troubleshoot software issues, errors, and technical problems
Review existing code and identify opportunities for improvement
Perform software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
Assist with API development, integrations, and system connectivity
Work with databases and data-related systems when required
Monitor application performance, stability, and reliability
Investigate technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve problems
Maintain accurate and organized technical documentation
Assist with software deployment, configuration, and release activities
Support application updates, maintenance, and system improvements
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates
Help maintain development environments, tools, repositories, and technical systems
Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other internal teams
Follow company engineering standards, security policies, procedures, and best practices
Identify opportunities to improve software development processes, workflows, and system performance
Support special software engineering projects and other duties as assigned
✅ Requirements
Entry-Level / Junior candidates are welcome to apply
0–3+ years of experience in software engineering, software development, programming, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required
Basic understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, or similar
Familiarity with Git, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, or software development tools is a plus
Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into software solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams
Professional, dependable, and results-oriented attitude
Willingness to learn new programming languages, technologies, frameworks, and development tools
Relevant software engineering or technical certification is a plus but not required
Fluent in English
Based in Germany and legally authorized to work in Germany
Able to work effectively in a fully remote environment
Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup
