Role Description The Pharmacy Assistant will support daily pharmacy operations within the clinic, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient handling of medications. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad. Key responsibilities include assisting with prescription processing under appropriate supervision, preparing and labeling medications, and maintaining up-to-date records. The Pharmacy Assistant will help manage inventory, restock supplies, and monitor expiry dates to ensure availability and compliance. The role also involves providing courteous customer service to patients, answering phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, coordinating with clinical staff, and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy area.
Qualifications
Ability to support prescription handling and processing in a clinical pharmacy setting.
Knowledge of basic pharmacy operations and medication handling practices.
Skills in inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies.
Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to follow established protocols.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy or clinic management software (preferred).
Certificate or diploma in pharmacy assistance, pharmacy technology, or a related field (preferred); relevant on-the-job experience will also be considered.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain patient confidentiality.
