Role Description The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that support Acumen Global’s education and recruitment services. Day-to-day responsibilities include building responsive user interfaces, implementing and optimizing server-side logic, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring data integrity and security. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and continuously improving existing systems for performance and scalability. The engineer will also participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruvananthapuram.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills, with experience in server-side programming, APIs, and database integration.
Candidates should possess comprehensive Software Development and Full-Stack Development skills, including application architecture, version control, and debugging.
Relevant experience with modern web frameworks (such as React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, or similar) and relational/non-relational databases.
Strong problem-solving abilities, clean coding practices, and familiarity with secure development principles.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in building platforms or tools for education, recruitment, or consulting services is an advantage.
