Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a UPVC Operator based in Durgapur. The UPVC Operator will be responsible for operating UPVC machinery and equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring products meet specified quality standards. Daily tasks include setting up machines, adjusting parameters as per production requirements, performing routine checks and basic maintenance, and reporting any equipment issues to supervisors. The role involves handling raw materials, maintaining a clean and safe work area, following safety and compliance guidelines, and accurately recording production data. The UPVC Operator will collaborate with the production team to meet output targets and support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Experience operating manufacturing or extrusion machinery, preferably in UPVC or related polymer processing.
Basic technical and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to understand machine settings, parameters, and maintenance needs.
Attention to detail with a focus on quality control, measurement checks, and adherence to production specifications.
Understanding of workplace safety practices and willingness to follow standard operating procedures and compliance guidelines.
Ability to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and handle moderate physical tasks in a factory environment.
Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability in meeting production schedules and targets.
Prior experience in plastics, polymers, or building materials manufacturing is an advantage.
Minimum high school or equivalent education; vocational training in mechanical, plastics, or industrial trades is a plus.
