Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Artificial Intelligence Engineer role based in Chandigarh. The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms for production-grade applications, collaborating closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include researching and experimenting with new AI techniques, building and training models in areas such as pattern recognition, neural networks, and NLP, and integrating these models into scalable software systems. The role involves writing clean, maintainable code, conducting rigorous testing and performance optimization, documenting solutions, and participating in code reviews. The engineer will also support deployment, monitor model performance, and continuously refine solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Hands-on experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for tasks such as classification, clustering, and prediction.
Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text preprocessing, language models, and conversational AI.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python), and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Experience with data handling and analysis, including working with structured and unstructured data and using SQL or NoSQL databases.
Ability to design, train, evaluate, and deploy models in production environments, with knowledge of APIs and integration best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Exposure to cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps practices is an advantage.
