Role Description The Head of Talent Management will lead the design and execution of talent strategies that support JSW Steel and Corporate’s long-term business objectives. This full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai will oversee succession planning frameworks, leadership development initiatives, and organization-wide training and development programs. The role includes driving employer branding efforts, enhancing employee engagement, and building robust talent pipelines across functions and levels. The Head of Talent Management will collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to assess current and future capability needs, implement high-impact interventions, and monitor outcomes through data and analytics. The position also involves managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, and continuously improving talent processes to strengthen organizational culture and performance.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Talent Management and Succession Planning, including building leadership pipelines and role-critical capability frameworks.
Strong background in Training & Development, with experience designing and implementing learning programs, leadership development initiatives, and competency-based curricula.
Proven ability in Employer Branding and Employee Engagement, including crafting value propositions, running engagement interventions, and measuring employee experience.
Extensive experience in strategic HR, organizational development, and workforce planning, preferably within large, complex or manufacturing organizations.
Advanced skills in data-driven decision-making, HR analytics, and use of HR technology platforms to track talent metrics and program effectiveness.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a senior HR leadership or Head of Talent role, with a track record of implementing scalable, sustainable talent initiatives.
