Travel Consultant

About the role
As Senior Travel Consultant, you'll be the primary point of contact for business customers — handling incoming requests by phone and email, and providing active travel consultation from itinerary details through to up-selling relevant products.
You bring an extensive, applicable understanding of the travel industry. You work independently, take initiative, and are trusted to run with requests without close supervision — while also acting as a first point of contact for teammates, guiding them on policy and procedure, joining operations projects, and coaching consultants when the team lead is away.

What you'll do

For the customer:
Expertly use the companies Travel's tools and systems to complete requests accurately
Anticipate and help resolve challenges before they reach the customer
Respond promptly and give every request your full attention
Review operational and commercial processes and suggest improvements
Manage quality, including error handling, and support projects as assigned
For the team:
Act as a first point of contact for teammates, answering questions on policy and procedure
Provide day-to-day support to keep requests moving smoothly
Join project teams working on operational improvements
Coach travel consultants when the team lead is unavailable
Meet individual and team goals
About you
Extensive travel agent experience
Strong attention to detail — accurate even under pressure
Comfortable in a fast-paced, 24/7 service environment
Proven collaboration across a global, multi-regional operation
Solid working knowledge of travel industry policies, procedures and processes
Advanced skills on GDS Amadeus
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent, demonstrated customer service and problem resolution skills
