Elektroteks is expanding its engineering operations in India and seeking an exceptional Automation Software Engineer to join our global team. In this role, you will develop, program, commission, and service advanced automation systems for our world-leading mattress and foam manufacturing equipment. To ensure complete alignment with our global engineering standards, comprehensive onboarding and initial hands-on training will be conducted at our global headquarters in Bursa, Turkey.
Key Responsibilities
Global Project Collaboration: Partner with international engineering teams on complex machine automation projects, ensuring seamless software integration and performance optimization.
Machinery Commissioning: Lead on-site PLC/motion control commissioning, testing, and calibration during local and global customer installations.
Post-Installation Support & Service: Take ownership of client support by rapidly diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving software, PLC, and automation breakdowns.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to deliver unified machine solutions and superior technical support.
Technical Expertise
PLC Programming: Proven, hands-on experience programming Omron, Siemens, or Beckhoff platforms.
Motion Control: Strong expertise in complex servo drive applications and multi-axis synchronization systems.
Industrial Communication: Deep understanding of EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Modbus protocols.
Networking: Practical experience with TCP/IP socket programming in industrial environments.
Qualifications & Travel Requirements
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of dedicated hands-on automation experience with an OEM machinery manufacturer.
Languages: Professional working proficiency in English for technical documentation and international teamwork.
Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively across India and internationally for commissioning, testing, and client support.
Passport & Visas: Must hold a valid passport (with clean background verification). Candidates with a strong international travel history or valid visas (US, Canada, or EU/Schengen) will be given priority consideration.
Notice Period: Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 30 days or less are highly preferred.
