Engineering Consultant

Role Description This is a full-time Engineering Consultant role based in New Delhi, offered in a hybrid format with a mix of on-site and return to home country every 1-2 months. The Engineering Consultant will provide technical consulting to solar manufacturing clients, including assessing equipment and process needs, recommending solutions, and supporting integration of new systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site assessments, developing technical proposals, coordinating installation and commissioning activities, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure project success. The role also involves managing project timelines, preparing documentation and reports, and offering ongoing engineering support to optimize performance and reliability of client operations.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to diagnose technical issues, evaluate system performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
Consulting skills to engage with clients, understand manufacturing requirements, and propose practical engineering solutions.
Project management experience to plan, coordinate, and deliver installation, commissioning, and ramp-up activities on schedule.
Exposure to software development and integration for equipment interfaces, control systems, or manufacturing automation is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of solar cell manufacturing processes ideally TOPCon, PERC, IBC, HJT equipment, and tooling is highly beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
