Translator

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Translator role based in Coimbatore. The Translator will be responsible for translating written and digital content between languages while preserving meaning, tone, and context. Daily tasks include reviewing source documents, producing clear and accurate translations, and proofreading and revising translated materials to ensure quality and consistency. The role involves collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to clarify terminology, maintain glossaries, and adapt content for different audiences. The Translator will also support documentation, reports, and presentations, and may assist with localization of product materials and internal communications.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in at least two languages, with excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills in both.
Ability to translate technical and non-technical content accurately while maintaining style, tone, and intent.
Solid skills in grammar, proofreading, and editing to ensure error-free, high-quality documents.
Comfort with digital tools such as word processors, translation software, and collaboration platforms.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Humanities, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in a technology or engineering environment, or willingness to learn technical terminology, is an advantage.
