Role Description The Volunteer role at MPSeDC – State IT Center is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. Volunteers support day-to-day operations of the State IT Center, including assisting with documentation, data entry, and coordination of IT-related activities and programs. The role may involve helping organize workshops or training sessions, providing basic support to internal teams and visitors, and contributing to outreach or awareness initiatives related to IT and digital services. Volunteers may also assist in maintaining records, preparing reports, and supporting project teams in implementing technology initiatives. The position offers exposure to government-led IT projects, collaborative work with diverse stakeholders, and an opportunity to contribute to the state’s digital growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, including familiarity with office productivity tools (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge or interest in Information Technology, IT-enabled services, or digital infrastructure.
Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with teams, stakeholders, and visitors.
Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
Candidates should possess a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness to support on-site operations in a structured environment.
Candidates with prior exposure to government, public sector projects, or community service, and those pursuing or holding a degree in IT, computer science, electronics, or related fields will be considered an added advantage.
