Role Description The Construction Manager 33 KV Line will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of 33 kV line construction projects in Bhuj. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising construction teams, coordinating contractors, and ensuring that work is performed according to design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring project schedules and budgets, managing resources and materials, and maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports. The Construction Manager will conduct site inspections, address technical issues, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality construction. The position also requires regular communication with stakeholders to report status, mitigate risks, and support continuous improvement in construction practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Construction and Construction Safety skills, with experience in high-voltage line or electrical infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills to lead site teams, coordinate contractors, and manage daily construction activities effectively.
Candidates should possess Budgeting and Project Control skills to track costs, manage schedules, and ensure projects are completed within scope and resources.
Relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; diploma or degree preferred.
Experience working on 33 kV or similar transmission/distribution line projects, including foundation, erection, and stringing activities.
Knowledge of applicable standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures for electrical and civil works.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, and technical specifications.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in challenging site conditions.
Proficiency in basic project reporting tools and MS Office; familiarity with project management software is an advantage.
