Supply Chain Director

Role Description The Supply Chain Director role is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain activities that support the production of food-related content and associated operations. Day-to-day tasks include planning and coordinating production schedules, aligning ingredient and equipment availability with filming and content release timelines, and optimizing procurement processes. The role involves managing relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of materials and services. The Supply Chain Director will analyze operational data to improve efficiency, maintain quality standards, mitigate risks, and support cross-functional collaboration with production, finance, and content teams.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Supply Chain Management and Supply Chain Operations, with experience overseeing end-to-end processes.
Demonstrated ability in Production Planning, including forecasting needs and aligning resources with content and production schedules.
Proficiency in Procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation to ensure reliable, cost-effective sourcing.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, optimize workflows, manage budgets, and support strategic decision-making.
Experience in food, media, or FMCG industries is beneficial, with familiarity in inventory control and quality assurance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., APICS, CPSM) are a plus.
