The opportunityWe’re looking for a Manager / Senior Manager – Public Relations to be the first team member in MumbaiThis role is ideal for someone who understands the world of fashion, lifestyle, and food and beverage, and knows how to turn brand stories into relevant conversations.You will work closely with clients, media, influencers, and internal teams to plan and execute impactful communications campaigns. Also a strong business development mindset, someone who can pitch and win business locally. What you’ll do
Lead day-to-day communications for fashion, lifestyle, and F&B accounts and be involved in Business Development
Build strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and other industry stakeholders.
Develop media strategies, campaign ideas, press materials, and communication plans.
Identify relevant media opportunities and secure impactful coverage.
Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted communications partner.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, creators, and external partners.
Plan and execute events, launches, collaborations, and influencer campaigns.
Track campaign performance and prepare regular reports and updates.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
Stay updated on industry trends, culture, media, and consumer conversations.
What we expect from you
4 years of experience in public relations or communications.
Prior experience working on fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, or food and beverage accounts.
Strong media relations and pitching skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Good understanding of influencers, digital platforms, and earned media.
Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Strong client-servicing and presentation skills.
Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
Immediate or short-notice availability would be preferred.
