Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Vapi for a Double Mould experience position. The team member will operate and monitor double mould machines, set up moulds according to production specifications, and ensure accurate, efficient, and safe production runs. Daily responsibilities include inspecting moulds for defects or wear, performing minor adjustments, and coordinating with supervisors and quality control personnel to maintain output standards. The role involves maintaining production logs, reporting issues or breakdowns promptly, and following all safety procedures and housekeeping practices on the shop floor. The individual will work closely with other machine operators and maintenance staff to support continuous improvement and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
Experience operating and handling double mould machines or similar moulding equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of production processes, machine setup, and operational parameters for moulding operations.
Ability to read and understand production instructions, measurements, and basic technical drawings.
Attention to detail and familiarity with visual inspection techniques to identify defects or irregularities in output.
Understanding of workplace safety practices, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to shop floor safety guidelines.
Willingness to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and manage physically demanding tasks as required by production.
Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with the ability to follow directions and work under supervision.
Prior experience in plastic, glass, or metal moulding operations is an advantage; vocational training or certification in machine operation or industrial production is beneficial.
