Role Description
Conduct inspection of plastic moulds, tools, dies, and tool-room parts.
Prepare and maintain Tool & Parts Inspection Reports.
Handle SIR (Sample Inspection Report) and Trial Reports.
Perform dimensional inspection using appropriate measuring instruments and gauges.
Coordinate with Tool Room, Production, Design, and Development teams to resolve quality issues.
Monitor trial results and ensure tools/components meet specified quality and dimensional requirements.
Identify defects, deviations, and root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain inspection records and quality documentation as per company standards.
Support continuous improvement in tool quality, dimensional accuracy, and mould trial performance.
Qualifications
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die,IGTR, CIPET or related engineering field.
Experience in Plastic Injection Mould / Tool Room Quality will be preferred.
Good knowledge of GD&T, dimensional inspection, measuring instruments, and engineering drawings.
Ability to prepare quality reports and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
