About ManasAI Technology Private Limited
ManasAI is a research-driven technology company building AI-powered, human-centred devices for inner wellbeing. Our flagship hardware work is Sakshi Sense — a research-grade wearable (ring and wrist form) that captures raw sensor streams for labs and wellness centres. This internship is hands-on product and prototype work, not a slide-deck posting.
Role
Design Intern — 3D design and printing
Duration: 2 months
Mode: Hybrid
Location: East of Kailash, New Delhi
Stipend: Negotiable
You will work on housings and mechanical parts for research-grade wearables: modelling, print, fit on a finger or wrist, and the next iteration. Electronics interns sit next to this desk. Candidates who can do both design and electronics may say so in the application.
What you will do
• 3D modelling of ring and wrist housings and related parts
• Product design for small wearable form factors (fit, snap, optical window, service access)
• 3D printing and finishing of prototype parts
• Build–test–iterate cycles with the electronics / IoT intern and the product lead
• Keep a simple log of versions, print settings, and what failed
What we look for
• Evidence you have already modelled and printed something small and wearable or handheld — photos or files, not only a course certificate
• Comfort with at least one CAD tool (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape, or equivalent)
• Basic judgment on print process (FDM / resin), tolerances, and how a part sits on skin
• Ability to take a sketch, make a printable file, and come back with what did not work
• Degree title is secondary. Hands-on work is primary.
Nice to have
• Product design for wearables or IoT enclosures
• Experience sitting with PCB / sensor placement so the housing and the board agree
• Rapid prototyping under a short clock
What this is not
• Not a graphic-design or social-media internship
• Not a medical-device certification project on this batch
• Not remote-only; hybrid means time at the East of Kailash work point
