SDE intern (backend)

Product: DhyanApp — the first AI-powered Vedic wellness super-app integrating Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Mantra, and Knowledge into one measurable platform. Its proprietary AI pose detection enables real-time posture correction with lightweight tech, while multilingual GuruBot AI provides guidance in 15+ languages.
We are looking for curious, self-driven students who want to learn by building real products across mobile and backend systems.
Position Available:
Backend + Python + Cloud
Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python (Flask)
Work with databases — MongoDB, and SQL-based stores
Support cloud deployment, monitoring, and scaling for production workloads
Integrate and improve AI-driven features: pose detection models, GuruBot multilingual AI, and real-time analytics pipelines
Build and maintain services that power meetings, social features, notifications, and content delivery for the app
You'll work with: Python, Firebase, MongoDB, GCP, AI/ML integration, REST APIs
Who This Is For
- 3rd year student (CS, IT, EE, or related fields from IIITs)
- Basic understanding of Python
- Interest in backend systems
- Curious about how real-world, production apps are built and shipped
- Willing to learn, take ownership, and work on a live product used by real users
Nice to Have
FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python frameworks
MongoDB, Firestore, or REST API design
Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Experience with AI/ML tools or APIs (ChatGPT, Claude)
