We’re seeking a seasoned Air Quality Project Director to join our high-performing environmental consulting team. This is a remote position open to experienced professionals with a proven track record in client development, project delivery, and technical leadership.
As a key player in our growth strategy, you’ll blend technical expertise with entrepreneurial drive—bringing a strong book of business, deep client relationships, and a passion for delivering environmental solutions across permitting, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level technical and project management support throughout all phases of client engagements.
Meet or exceed annual net revenue targets of $500K+ with profit margins of 20% or greater.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage key client accounts, and ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables.
Support and develop junior staff while contributing to the strategic direction of the practice.
Collaborate with firm leadership and the business development team to expand service offerings and market presence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with demonstrated client development success.
Professional licensure or certification (e.g., PE) is strongly preferred.
Expertise in federal and state air quality regulations; experience with the refining, chemical, or oil & gas industries is a plus.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, or equivalent platforms.
Established relationships with Fortune 1000 clients, legal counsel, and/or developers in alignment with our core practice areas.
