DATA SCIENTIST – MACHINE LEARNING & ANALYTICS

Globex Technology is looking for a talented and analytical Data Scientist to join our growing technology team and work on data-driven solutions for international clients.
This is a hands-on remote role for someone who enjoys working with real-world datasets, building machine learning models, discovering meaningful insights and turning data into practical business solutions.
Position: Data Scientist – Machine Learning & Analytics
Employment: Full-time
Work Mode: Remote
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM PKT
Salary: PKR 270,000 – 330,000/month
What you'll work with:
Python
Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn
SQL and relational databases
Data cleaning and preprocessing
Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
Statistical analysis
Machine Learning
Supervised and unsupervised learning
Feature engineering and selection
Model evaluation and optimization
Data visualization
Matplotlib, Seaborn and/or Plotly
Jupyter Notebook
REST APIs and model deployment
Git/GitHub
Docker and cloud platforms
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field
Strong Python programming skills
Strong understanding of statistics and probability
Practical experience with Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn
Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases
Experience cleaning, transforming and analyzing datasets
Experience developing and evaluating machine learning models
Good understanding of regression, classification and clustering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Bonus points:
Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
Experience with Power BI or Tableau
Experience with time-series forecasting
Experience with NLP or recommendation systems
Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
Experience deploying ML models into production
Experience with MLflow or other MLOps tools
Experience with LLMs or Generative AI
Experience building data pipelines or ETL workflows
