Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a contract role based in the Greater Delhi Area with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves guiding prospective learners and participants through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, while representing BridgeXa’s programs and partner institutions in a professional and supportive manner. Day-to-day tasks include conducting information sessions and one-on-one consultations, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels, and assessing applicant fit based on program criteria. The counselor will maintain accurate records in admissions systems, coordinate with internal and partner teams to ensure a smooth applicant experience, and support outreach events, workshops, and campaigns as needed. The role also includes meeting enrollment targets, providing feedback on admissions processes, and contributing insights to improve communication and engagement strategies.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with prospective applicants and partner stakeholders.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide timely, empathetic, and solution-focused support throughout the admissions journey.
Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert qualified leads into enrollments while maintaining ethical, student-centered guidance.
Candidates should possess Education-related experience or understanding of academic or training programs, admissions processes, or counseling in an educational context.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in Education, Communications, Marketing, Psychology, or related fields are advantageous.
Beneficial experience includes prior work in admissions, counseling, student recruitment, or program outreach, preferably in the Greater Delhi Area or similar markets.
Additional skills such as proficiency with CRM or admissions management tools, comfort with digital communication platforms, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid setting are preferred.
