Role Description
We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Chennai. The candidate will support daily pharmacy operations, dispense medicines accurately, maintain inventory, and provide quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medicines in accordance with valid prescriptions and applicable regulations.
Verify prescriptions and identify potential dispensing concerns.
Guide customers on proper medication usage, where appropriate.
Manage medicine inventory and monitor expiry dates.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Support billing and pharmacy software operations.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with healthcare professionals when required.
Protect patient confidentiality and follow ethical pharmacy practices.
Qualifications
D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification.
Valid pharmacist registration with the appropriate pharmacy council, where applicable.
Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn pharmacy software.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai.
