The Role
We are seeking an HR Specialist / HR & Administration Manager / Chief People Officer (CPO) to support people operations, workforce initiatives, and organizational development. This part-time remote opportunity is suited to an experienced HR professional who can combine practical HR knowledge with strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills. The role will contribute to employee experience, HR processes, talent initiatives, and broader people-focused business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate HR operations and ensure people processes are organized and consistently managed.
Support workforce planning, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
Develop and improve practical HR processes aligned with organizational needs.
Support employee engagement, performance management, and workplace initiatives.
Coordinate with managers and department leaders on people-related priorities.
Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and confidential employee information.
Support organizational development and learning initiatives where appropriate.
Monitor HR activities and provide management with relevant workforce insights.
Assist with resolving employee concerns through professional and constructive communication.
Provide guidance to team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative remote culture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of professional HR or people-management experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and workplace practices.
Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
Familiarity with workforce planning, HR administration, and organizational development.
Proficiency in maintaining HR documentation and handling confidential information appropriately.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and senior stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple HR priorities independently within a remote environment.
Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities with a people-focused approach.
