Role Description The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies to support the organization’s programs and initiatives. This full-time remote role involves identifying and cultivating prospective donors, managing donor relationships, and preparing compelling proposals, presentations, and campaign materials. The Fundraiser will coordinate virtual and in-person events (as needed), track fundraising progress, and maintain accurate records in donor management systems. The role includes collaborating with internal teams to align messaging, ensure consistent communication, and report on fundraising outcomes. The Fundraiser will also monitor trends in philanthropy and recommend new approaches to expand the organization’s donor base.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor cultivation, and relationship management.
Strong communication skills, including persuasive writing, public speaking, and presentation abilities.
Ability to plan and coordinate campaigns and events, manage timelines, and organize multiple priorities.
Comfort with using CRM or donor management systems, spreadsheets, and general office software.
Capacity to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a dispersed team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in tracking goals and reporting results.
Understanding of nonprofit or social impact work; prior experience in the sector is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Communications, Nonprofit Management, Business, or similar) or equivalent experience.
