Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Mumbai. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing video content, and ensuring a coherent narrative and visual style that aligns with project goals. Day-to-day tasks include trimming clips, inserting transitions, synchronizing audio, applying color corrections, and incorporating motion graphics or visual effects as needed. The role involves working closely with producers, directors, and other creative team members to interpret briefs, refine edits based on feedback, and deliver final outputs in required formats and resolutions. The Video Editor will also help organize media assets, maintain project files, and ensure timely delivery of video projects.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality, maintain consistency, and support the intended mood or brand identity.
Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to improve storytelling, explain concepts, or reinforce branding.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
Good sense of pacing, visual composition, and sound design, with strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, accept feedback constructively, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Relevant education or training in Film, Media, Communication, Animation, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a similar video editing role, especially in corporate, agency, or production house environments, will be an advantage.
