Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver LMV role based in Jamshedpur, requiring 12 years of driving experience. The driver will operate light motor vehicles to transport staff, patients, or materials safely and punctually as per scheduled routes and assignments. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle, and following all traffic and safety regulations. The driver will keep accurate logs of trips and mileage, report any mechanical issues promptly, and coordinate with supervisors for route planning and timing. Professional interaction with passengers and colleagues, adherence to company policies, and readiness to work flexible hours as needed are essential.
Qualifications
Strong light motor vehicle driving experience with a valid driving license and a clean driving record; familiarity with Truck operation and basic vehicle checks is beneficial.
Experience or exposure to Truck Driving and CDL Class A concepts is an advantage, demonstrating understanding of commercial driving standards and safety practices.
Effective Communication skills to coordinate routes, report issues clearly, and follow instructions accurately.
Customer Service mindset to ensure courteous, respectful, and professional interactions with passengers and staff.
Minimum 12 years of driving experience, good knowledge of local routes in and around Jamshedpur, and strong awareness of road safety and traffic rules.
Ability to work full-time on-site, including early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts as required.
Physical fitness sufficient for extended driving periods and basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
Prior experience in healthcare or service-oriented organizations is an added advantage.
