Role Description The Security Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat. This position is responsible for overseeing security guards, managing daily deployments, conducting briefings, and ensuring that all team members follow site-specific security protocols. The Security Supervisor monitors access control, patrols premises, responds to incidents, and coordinates with client representatives to address security-related concerns. The role includes preparing basic reports, maintaining logs, and ensuring that security equipment is used correctly and kept in working order. The Security Supervisor also supports training of new security staff, handles escalations, and promotes courteous, professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead security teams, manage shifts, and ensure adherence to procedures.
Candidates should possess Physical Security expertise to oversee access control, surveillance, patrolling, and incident response.
Candidates should possess effective Communication abilities to coordinate with clients, team members, and management.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to interact professionally with visitors, employees, and residents at client sites.
Candidates should possess Operations Management capabilities to handle scheduling, reporting, and compliance with site requirements.
Relevant experience in security supervision or guard management, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
Knowledge of basic safety regulations and emergency response practices; prior experience with security systems is an advantage.
Ability to work in shifts, remain alert during extended periods, and maintain calm, objective judgment in high-pressure situations.
Minimum educational qualification at the secondary or higher secondary level; security-related training or certifications are a plus.
