Role Description The Software Developer Intern will support the development of AI-driven and full-stack software solutions as part of the engineering team. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging issues, assisting in the implementation of new features, and contributing to technical documentation. The intern will collaborate with developers and designers to build web and mobile applications, participate in code reviews, and learn best practices for software architecture and deployment. This is an internship role, based on-site at the EFLABS office in Chennai, providing hands-on experience with real client projects and internal tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational programming skills (e.g., in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages) and a basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Candidates should possess skills related to web development, such as knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end or back-end frameworks.
Candidates should possess skills relevant to software engineering practices, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, and writing clean, maintainable code.
Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment, accept feedback, and adapt to changing project needs.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Interest or coursework in AI, machine learning, or cloud technologies will be considered an added advantage.
