Role Description The Commis 2 Bakery role is a full-time, on-site position based at Itc Fortune Park in Ahmedabad. The team member will assist in daily bakery operations, including preparing doughs, batters, and baked products such as breads, cookies, pastries, and other desserts following standardized recipes and hotel guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, organizing ingredients and equipment, supporting senior chefs in production planning, and ensuring consistent product quality and presentation. The role also involves proper storage and labeling of baked items, minimizing wastage, and collaborating with the kitchen team to meet guest orders and banquet requirements.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in bakery operations, including Bakery and Baking skills.
Hands-on experience in Food Preparation with a focus on baked goods.
Ability to produce and finish Cookies and Bread to consistent quality standards.
Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
Certificate or diploma in bakery, culinary arts, or hotel management is preferred.
Previous experience in a professional bakery or hotel pastry section is an advantage.
Ability to follow recipes, work accurately under supervision, and manage time during peak hours.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and collaborate with diverse team members.
