Role Description The Quality Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Quality Assistant supports daily quality control activities, including inspecting products, monitoring production processes, and recording test results against established standards. The role involves assisting in quality assurance routines, maintaining documentation, and helping ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements. The Quality Assistant collaborates with production and quality teams to identify nonconformities, support root-cause analysis, and contribute to corrective and preventive actions. The position also includes preparing reports, organizing quality records, and helping drive continuous improvement in quality systems.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to support product inspection and compliance with standards.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret test data, identify trends, and assist in problem-solving for quality issues.
Candidates should possess Quality Management knowledge to understand policies, procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
Candidates should possess Document Management skills to maintain accurate records, reports, and quality-related documentation.
Relevant diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow standardized procedures, and familiarity with basic quality tools (e.g., checklists, control charts) are preferred.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a factory environment are advantageous.
Prior experience in a quality function within manufacturing or automotive components is an added advantage.
