Social Media & Design Intern | Ingress Within
Location: Fully remote (India)
Duration: 3-6 months
Start: Immediate
Commitment: ~25-30 hours/week
Stipend: ₹7,500/month, reviewed at 3 months
About Ingress Within
Ingress Within is building a different way of talking about emotional wellbeing in India. Most mental health content is either too clinical or too surface-level. We want to make it grounded, human and easy to engage with. We're an early-stage team, so you'll be building with us, not just executing.
The role
You'll create content for Instagram and LinkedIn, and other platforms as we grow. We'll give you the direction, topics, research and mental health context. Your job is to turn that into simple, engaging visuals and social content.
You'll work on:
Designing posts and carousels
Exploring different visual styles and formats
Turning research into easy-to-understand content
Finding studies, articles and ideas that could inspire posts
Brainstorming content ideas with us
Creating short-form video content and occasional social media creatives
Who we're looking for
You enjoy designing and have a good eye for visuals
You understand social media and what works on Instagram and LinkedIn
You're comfortable with tools like Canva or Figma [or whatever you use]
You're curious and like exploring new ideas
You're keen to learn video (editing, Reels, short-form storytelling)
You're willing to use AI tools and experiment with new tech
You care about getting things right. Mental health content needs accuracy and sensitivity, and we don't make claims beyond what the research supports
You don't need a mental health or psychology background. Genuine interest in the space and a willingness to learn it are enough. Freshers and students are welcome.
What you get
A real start in mental health content. We'll actively help you build a profile in this space: guiding you on the domain, involving you in research-based content, and giving you published work that shows it. This is the reason the stipend is modest.
Stipend of ₹7,500/month. We're just getting started, so we're upfront that it's low. It will be reviewed at 3 months.
Possible conversion to a full-time role at a fair industry rate. This will be discussed and decided together at the 3-month review.
Direct work with the founders and real input on what gets published
Published work for your portfolio
Hands-on learning in design, social media, video and AI-assisted workflows
Internship certificate and a letter of recommendation on successful completion
