Logistics Director

Role Description The Logistics Director at Recrutement Agents Généraux MMA is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics activities and ensuring efficient movement of goods and materials. The person in this role will design and optimize logistics processes, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and monitor performance against service-level, cost, and quality targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and supervising transportation and distribution, aligning warehouse and procurement activities with operational needs, and resolving logistics issues to minimize delays and disruptions. The Logistics Director will analyze data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and compliance with relevant policies and regulations. This role also involves contributing to strategic planning, supporting budgeting and forecasting for logistics operations, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management to oversee end-to-end material and product flows.
Experience in Operations Management and Warehouse Operations to optimize daily processes, inventory control, and distribution activities.
Strong background in Procurement to manage sourcing, vendor relationships, and cost-effective purchasing aligned with logistics needs.
Ability to analyze data, use logistics or ERP systems, and prepare performance reports for decision-making.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations leadership role; experience in multi-site or international operations is an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices; professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are a plus.
