Role Description The Mechanical Fitter role at ACC ASL is a full-time, on-site position based in Balapur. The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for installing, assembling, aligning, and maintaining mechanical machinery and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, carrying out repairs, and supporting preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, using appropriate tools and machines for fitting and adjustments, and ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards. The Mechanical Fitter works closely with maintenance and production teams to keep equipment operating efficiently and supports continuous improvement of mechanical systems.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical fitting skills, including Fitting and working with various types of Machinery.
Experience with Machining operations and use of relevant tools and equipment.
Knowledge of Maintenance practices, including Preventive Maintenance for industrial machinery.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in mechanical or industrial fields.
Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and manage tasks with attention to detail.
