Role Description:
This full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role is based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The role involves identifying customer needs, proposing appropriate technical solutions from EIBC’s product portfolio, and managing the sales cycle from lead generation to order closure. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations, preparing quotations, and providing pre- and post-sales support in coordination with internal teams. The Technical Sales Engineer will visit customer sites, maintain relationships with existing accounts, and develop new business opportunities. The role also includes maintaining accurate sales records, monitoring market trends, and contributing feedback to improve product offerings and customer service.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills to manage opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.
Candidates should possess Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand customer applications and provide practical solutions.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with customers, internal teams, and suppliers.
Candidates should have knowledge of industrial/MRO products such as bearings,linear motion guides hydraulics, and power transmission components.
Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical or related field) or have equivalent technical experience.
Candidates should be comfortable with on-site customer visits, basic CRM or sales reporting tools, and working in a target-driven environment.
Prior experience in industrial distribution or manufacturing sales in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad region is an advantage.
