Role Description The Sr Officer role at HeidelbergCement India is a full-time, on-site position based in Damoh. The role typically involves overseeing day-to-day operational activities within the plant or functional area, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. The Sr Officer coordinates with cross-functional teams to support production planning, process improvement initiatives, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities may include monitoring key performance indicators, preparing periodic reports, and assisting in the implementation of best practices and technological upgrades. The Sr Officer is expected to support team development, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and contribute to the company’s sustainability and efficiency goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong operational and process management skills, with experience in plant operations, production workflows, or related industrial functions.
Candidates should possess skills in data analysis, reporting, and basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office and enterprise systems.
Candidates should possess sound knowledge of safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance relevant to the cement or manufacturing sector.
Candidates should possess strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
Candidates should possess problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet operational timelines.
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in cement or building materials manufacturing will be an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Damoh and adapt to a fast-paced, performance-driven environment is required.
