Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Vice President – MEP. The role involves leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) strategy and execution across luxury high-rise and large-scale residential projects. The Vice President – MEP will oversee design reviews, coordinate with architects and structural consultants, and ensure that all MEP systems meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding project MEP teams, managing external contractors and vendors, reviewing CAD drawings and technical specifications, and resolving site-level technical issues. The role also includes budget oversight for MEP works, timeline tracking, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of processes to support on-time, high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) expertise for high-rise building projects.
Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating multiple concurrent projects.
Candidates should possess proven Team Management and leadership skills to guide and develop multidisciplinary MEP and site teams.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for reviewing and interpreting design drawings and layouts.
Extensive experience in real estate or construction, particularly luxury high-rise or large residential projects.
Thorough knowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or professional certifications in MEP or project management are an advantage.
