Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Educational Counselor role based in Pimpri Chinchwad. The Educational Counselor will guide students and learners in selecting suitable courses and training programs, based on their interests, skills, and career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining program details, addressing queries from students and parents, and helping individuals understand education and career pathways. The role involves maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions, coordinating with trainers and administrative staff, and participating in orientation events or information sessions. The counselor is expected to promote the organization’s training offerings, support admissions processes, and ensure a positive and supportive experience for all learners.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge to guide learners on suitable academic and training options.
Candidates should possess skills in Student Counseling to support learners’ academic choices, personal concerns, and learning challenges.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Career Counseling abilities to help individuals understand career paths, industry trends, and job opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or specialized counseling certification is an advantage.
Prior experience in educational counseling, admissions, or training institutes is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse age groups and backgrounds.
Ability to work on-site full-time in Pimpri Chinchwad, manage multiple cases, and maintain organized documentation.
