Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Python Developer role (2+ YOE) based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Senior Python Developer will design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power the StrikeAPrice platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Daily responsibilities include developing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating with third-party data sources, and working closely with product and analytics teams to implement price monitoring and reporting capabilities. The role also involves writing clean, testable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Manage daily data extraction pipelines and deliver daily client reporting.
🔹 Build high-performance REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
🔹 Design and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data movement.
🔹 Deploy and monitor cloud services on AWS or GCP.
🔹 Drive technical documentation and team updates using standard office tools.
Requirements:
✅ 2+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
✅ Solid background in API development and ETL workflows.
✅ Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
✅ Good technical documentation skills using common office & collaboration tools.
