Role Description The Vice President Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations and strategy for Rescue Plumbing. This position leads financial planning and budgeting processes, monitors cash flow, and ensures accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. The role includes analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing data-driven recommendations to support business growth and operational efficiency. The Vice President Finance will collaborate with senior leadership on long-term financial strategy, manage relationships with external financial partners, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls. This role also involves building and mentoring a high-performing finance team and implementing tools and processes to optimize financial management.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting to develop forecasts and manage resources effectively.
Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
Experience in leading finance teams and collaborating with executive leadership in a growing service-based or trades-related business is beneficial.
Advanced proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and spreadsheet tools is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong communication and organizational skills.
