Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Lighting Specialist role based in Kanpur Nagar. The Lighting Specialist will consult with clients to understand their requirements, recommend appropriate lighting and shading solutions, and prepare basic layout suggestions or design inputs in coordination with the design team. Day-to-day tasks include demonstrating lighting products, explaining technical features and control options, and supporting customers in product selection. The role also involves managing sales activities, preparing quotations, maintaining product knowledge, and coordinating with installation and service teams to ensure accurate implementation. The Lighting Specialist will document client interactions, follow up on leads, and contribute to showroom or project presentations as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Lighting Design and Lighting to support product selection and layout recommendations.
Candidates should possess skills in Lighting Control and Shading to advise on integrated, user-friendly home solutions.
Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage client consultations, proposals, and closing opportunities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, installers, and internal teams.
Ability to interpret basic floor plans or design documents and translate them into lighting solutions.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to learn new lighting technologies.
Prior experience in lighting, home automation, interior design, or related fields is beneficial.
Minimum of a high school diploma; a technical or design-related qualification is an advantage.
