Role Description The Senior Accountant at NoBroker HR will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting internal and external audits. The Senior Accountant will analyze financial data, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, implement controls, and improve reporting efficiency is an essential part of this position. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced MS Excel skills.
Understanding of Indian taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or CPA (India/US) are an advantage.
Previous experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization, preferably in technology, real estate, or services sectors.
