Role Description The Export Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing end-to-end export operations for fresh-produce shipments. This position oversees order processing, documentation, and compliance with international trade regulations, as well as coordination with packhouse, cold-storage, logistics partners, and freight forwarders to ensure timely, quality-focused deliveries. The role includes building and maintaining relationships with international customers and distributors, driving sales growth in existing and new markets, and supporting pricing and business planning aligned with company goals. The Export Manager will monitor market trends, customer requirements, and regulatory changes to optimize export strategies and mitigate operational risks. Daily tasks involve close collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, and international clients to maintain high service standards and consistent supply.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Export operations and International Trade, including documentation, regulatory compliance, and logistics coordination.
Candidates should possess skills in International Business and Business Planning to support market development, pricing strategies, and long-term growth.
Candidates should possess skills in Sales and customer relationship management for B2B environments, ideally within food, agriculture, or fresh-produce sectors.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and international stakeholders.
Experience with cold-chain logistics, perishables handling, or agri-exports is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proficiency in relevant export documentation tools, MS Office, and basic data analysis for reporting and planning.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple shipments and deadlines, and uphold high standards of quality and customer service.
