Role Description The Regional Director of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing warehouse and logistics operations across assigned regions. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing standardized systems, SOPs, and KPIs in collaboration with client teams. The Regional Director will coordinate operational assessments, review reports and recommendations, and guide the rollout of cost-control and service-improvement initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include supervising regional performance metrics, supporting local operations leaders, ensuring alignment with client goals, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The role also requires close collaboration with internal consultants and client stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and support training efforts for warehouse and logistics personnel.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including experience in warehouse, logistics, and distribution center optimization.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess processes, interpret performance data, and develop actionable improvement plans.
Candidates should possess proven Team Management capabilities to lead, mentor, and coordinate regional operations staff and stakeholder groups.
Candidates should possess Budgeting and cost-control skills to manage operational expenditures and support profit-improvement initiatives.
Candidates should possess a commitment to high-quality Customer Service, ensuring operational changes enhance service levels and reliability.
Relevant qualifications may include a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience working with 3PL providers, warehouse process design, fleet management, and inventory optimization is highly beneficial.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and remote collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
