Recruitment Specialis

Role Description The Recruitment Specialist will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding new volunteers and contributors for me_ton_Kyriako. This part-time, remote role involves sourcing candidates through online platforms, social media, and networking within relevant communities. Day-to-day tasks include screening profiles, organizing and conducting interviews, coordinating with team members to understand role requirements, and supporting new joiners during their initial training and integration. The Recruitment Specialist will maintain clear communication with candidates, track recruitment activities, and contribute ideas to improve recruitment processes and community engagement.
Qualifications
Strong recruiting and hiring skills, including experience identifying suitable candidates for volunteer or project-based roles.
Proficiency in interviewing and candidate assessment, with the ability to evaluate motivation, fit, and relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear, professional interaction with candidates and team members.
Experience in training or onboarding, including supporting new members and facilitating knowledge transfer.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Comfort with digital tools and social media platforms for outreach and candidate sourcing.
Interest in politics, civic engagement, or community organizing is beneficial.
Prior experience in recruitment, human resources, or community management is an advantage.
