Role Description This Interior Designer intern role is a hybrid internship based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. The intern will support the design team in developing concepts, assisting with space planning, and preparing presentations and mood boards for residential projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include helping with construction drawings, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E details, and maintaining project documentation. The intern will also assist in site visits, measurements, and vendor coordination as needed. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full interior design process, from concept to execution, under the guidance of senior designers.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional residential layouts.
Basic understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read and assist in preparing technical drawings.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe Suite).
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup and manage time responsibly.
Interest in bespoke residential design and willingness to learn through site visits, vendor interactions, and client-facing work.
