Role Description The Utility Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the company’s facility in Solapur. The role involves overseeing daily operations of plant utilities such as boilers, compressors, chillers, and power distribution systems to ensure uninterrupted support for textile manufacturing. The Utility Manager monitors consumption, efficiency, and reliability of utilities, implements preventive and corrective maintenance plans, and coordinates with facility management and production teams to resolve issues. Responsibilities include managing wastewater treatment operations, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations, optimizing utility costs through effective budgeting, and maintaining documentation and reports. The role also requires supervising utility staff, collaborating with external vendors and service providers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in utility performance and sustainability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Utilities and Facility Management (FM) for industrial or manufacturing environments.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and experience in Budgeting to monitor performance, control costs, and support decision-making.
Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Wastewater Treatment processes, environmental compliance, and safety standards.
Relevant skills such as maintenance planning, energy management, and familiarity with statutory regulations applicable to industrial utilities are beneficial.
A diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, along with experience in utilities within textiles or similar manufacturing sectors, is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to work on-site in Solapur and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
