Role Description The Tender Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The Tender Associate will be responsible for monitoring tenders on Government and Private portals (GeM, CPPP etc), identifying relevant tenders, analyzing tender requirements, coordinating the preparation of technical and commercial bid documents and supporting the end-to-end bisd submission process.
This role includes gathering inputs from internal teams, compiling cost estimates, ensuring compliance with tender specifications, and maintaining accurate tender documentation and records. The Tender Associate will track tender timelines, manage submissions, follow up on clarifications, and support post-tender negotiations as needed. Daily activities also involve maintaining tender databases, preparing summary reports, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and quality submissions.
Would also require to manage GeM product listing, catalogue creation, OEM panels, brand approvals and vendor-related documentation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in tender documentation, bid preparation, and proposal formatting, with the ability to interpret technical and commercial requirements.
Candidates should possess strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to review tender portals, identify opportunities, and analyze eligibility and evaluation criteria.
Candidates should possess strong communication and coordination skills, including clear written communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, including deadline management, document control, and attention to detail.
Candidates should possess basic financial and commercial acumen, including familiarity with pricing structures, cost estimation, and contractual terms.
Relevant experience in tendering, contracts, or business development, ideally within aerospace, defence, engineering, or related industries, is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, commerce, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Word and Excel), ability to learn tender management tools, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information are important.
Experience of 4 years plus in Tendering would be preferred.
