Role Description The Vice President of Global Markets at Sattva Energias is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for expanding and managing the company’s presence across international energy markets. This position oversees global sales and trading activities, drives market entry and growth strategies, and ensures alignment of regional initiatives with overall corporate objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends and regulatory developments, leading cross-functional project teams to deliver strategic initiatives, and optimizing pricing, risk management, and portfolio performance. The role collaborates closely with finance, operations, and commercial teams to develop business cases, negotiate high-value agreements, and maintain strong relationships with key partners and clients. The Vice President also mentors regional leaders, establishes performance metrics, and reports on market performance and strategic progress to the executive leadership team.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, assess risk, and support evidence-based strategic decisions.
Proficiency in finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating investment opportunities in global energy markets.
Proven experience in sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and leading commercial teams.
Hands-on experience in trading, preferably in energy or commodities, with an understanding of pricing, hedging, and market dynamics.
Advanced project management skills to lead complex, cross-border initiatives from planning through execution and measurement.
Extensive leadership experience in global or regional markets, ideally within the energy, renewables, or commodities sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultural and geographic contexts.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating autonomy, accountability, and strong collaboration skills.
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed to meet with clients, partners, and internal teams.
