Role Description The Executive Vice President of Projects is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects across Own Brand’s portfolio. This role provides strategic direction for project management practices, ensures alignment with organizational goals, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting project priorities, monitoring progress and risks, reviewing performance metrics, and guiding project leaders and managers. The role involves collaborating with senior executives on resource allocation, governance, and continuous improvement of project methodologies and tools. The Executive Vice President of Projects also represents the projects function in executive discussions, drives stakeholder communication, and supports change management for major organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in project, program, or portfolio management, including oversight of multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities, define project roadmaps, and align projects with business objectives.
Experience in remote team management, including building high-performing distributed teams and fostering effective virtual collaboration.
Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMO frameworks, Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches) and performance reporting.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at executive and operational levels.
Track record of driving process improvement, change management, and risk mitigation across a portfolio of projects.
Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decisions, optimize resource utilization, and improve project outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP) are beneficial.
Experience in brand-focused, consumer products, or services organizations is a plus, along with familiarity with remote-first work environments.
